Diaoyutai cigarettes have a long history. Originally produced by Yunnan Zhaotong Cigarette Factory, it was produced by Kunming Cigarette Factory after the merger (under Hongyun Honghe Group). From 65438 to 0989, led by some leaders in Beijing, Zhaotong Tobacco Factory, National Poverty Alleviation Fund Committee and Diaoyutai State Guesthouse decided to develop a new product linked to poverty alleviation. Zhaotong Tobacco Factory cooperated to develop new products, and the National Poverty Alleviation Fund supervised the import of equipment for Zhaotong Tobacco Factory and coordinated the brand and trademark of Diaoyutai cigarettes.
