To apply for a business license, you need to go to the local industrial and commercial bureau. A business license is a certificate that allows industrial and commercial enterprises and self-employed individuals to engage in certain production and business activities. It is handled and granted by the Industry and Commerce Bureau. Its format is also uniformly stipulated by the national industrial and commercial administration department. Business licenses may not be forged, altered, rented, loaned, or transferred. Industrial and commercial enterprises or self-employed individuals who have not applied for the license are not allowed to open business. They are not allowed to engrave official seals, sign contracts, register trademarks, or publish advertisements. Bank accounts are not allowed to be opened.
