During the product verification stage, careful adjustments by Volkswagen experts made all indicators of Jiayue A5 meet the performance standards of German Volkswagen.
JAC has fully introduced the German VDA quality management system and systematically applied Volkswagen quality tools, which is the biggest highlight of this cooperation. Jiayue A5 engine is independently developed and produced by JAC Motors. All engines are equipped with 1.5T turbocharged engines. The cylinder block and cylinder head are made of aluminum alloy. The engine model is HFC4GB2.4E, and the engine emissions comply with six national standards. The front suspension type of Jiayue A5 chassis is MacPherson independent suspension, and the rear suspension type is E-type multi-link independent suspension, which is different from the rear torsion beam non-independent suspension used in similar models. The adjustment of the chassis is related to the comfort of the car. The rear suspension on the same platform as the Volkswagen MQB can still ensure sufficient comfort when driving.
