Landrover was translated as "Land Rover" in Chinese mainland (known as "Cross Country Lu Hua" in Hongkong). Before Ranger was officially sold in China, Chinese people always translated Ranger into "Land Rover". However, when LR was ready to be officially listed in China, it was found that "Land Rover" had been registered as a trademark by a domestic automobile company, so we had no choice but to register the trademark of "Land Rover" in China.

Land Rover is one of the world's four-wheel drive companies and a famous British brand. Perhaps because of this, the value of Land Rover-adventure, courage and supremacy-shines in its cars. In 2008, India's Tata Group acquired the Land Rover brand from Ford for $2.3 billion.
