There are four types of Moutai trademark patterns. Since the establishment of Kweichow Moutai in 1954, it has had four trademarks, namely Jinlun brand, Five Star brand, and Sunflower brand. The reason why there are different trademarks. It is because of historical, cultural, diplomatic and other relations. Different trademarks are used on different occasions. The context is quite complex, but to put it simply, Five Star Brand, formerly known as Jinlun Brand, is the domestically sold wine, while Feitian Brand is the export version.
Explanation of trademark changes
After local state-owned enterprises withdrew from the stage of history, Moutai entered the iron cover era. In August 1986, Moutai Distillery was notified to change the packaging, including export and domestic versions. For domestically sold wine, the standard capacity has been changed from 540 ml to 500 ml, and small bottles of 375 ml are also available. The size of the back label is much smaller than that of local state-owned brands, and the words "Produced by local state-owned Moutai Distillery" in the lower right corner of the main label are changed to "Produced by China Moutai Distillery". The outermost tissue paper on the bottle was also removed, and the outer box was used for exquisite packaging. The Feitian brand for export uses a double-layer box, and the five-star brand for domestic sales uses a single layer.
