1. The validity period of a registered trademark is 10 years. The validity period of trademark renewal registration is ten years.
2. If a registered trademark needs to be continued to be used after it expires, an application for renewal of registration should be made within 12 months before expiration.
3. If the application is not processed within 12 months before expiration, a six-month grace period will be given.
4. If an application has not been made within the extension period, the registered trademark will be cancelled.
5. After the Trademark Office examines the trademark renewal registration application, it will issue a trademark renewal certificate and will not issue another trademark registration certificate. The original trademark registration certificate and trademark renewal certificate will be used together.
6. Trademark renewal fee: A fee of 2,000 yuan is required for a renewal registration application. If the registration renewal application is submitted within the six-month extension period, a delay fee of RMB 500 is required.
