beware of the crime of fraud in the name of "China Trademark Certification Center" and "China Famous Trademark Review and Adjudication Board"!
Recently, the Economic Crime Investigation Department of Beijing Public Security Bureau filed a case to investigate and deal with major fraud cases such as Li Xiangcheng and Cao Yulin. After investigation, Li Xiangcheng, Cao Yulin and others distributed the Notice on Printing and Distributing the Recognition of Famous Trademarks in China to relevant enterprises nationwide through "China Trademark Certification Center" and "China Famous Trademark Review and Adjudication Board" (http:/http://www.chinasb.org), and used it to collect review fees from relevant enterprises for fraudulent activities. Its fraud has disturbed the national trademark management order and seriously infringed on the interests of enterprises.
Characteristics of this kind of fraud cases:
1. Take the net fishing method, and distribute the Notice on Printing and Distributing the Recognition of "Famous Trademarks in China" to relevant enterprises nationwide through the Internet or by fax, so as to trick unspecified enterprises. Criminal suspects don't show up, hide deeply and are not easy to be found.
2. Cheat cash by charging less evaluation fees (ranging from several thousand yuan to tens of thousands of yuan) to the enterprises that signed up for the selection. Even if the enterprises know that they have been cheated, they will not report the case to the public security organs because of little loss, so they can continue to commit crimes and reap profits for a long time.
3. confuse the real with the fake. After receiving the cash remitted by the deceived enterprise, the self-made fake "Certificate of Honor" and "Certificate of Famous Trademark" will be distributed to the deceived enterprise by mail within a short period of time, so that the deceived unit will be kept in the dark. The company cheated by our city didn't know that it was two pieces of waste paper until the public security organ came to investigate and collect evidence recently.
To this end, the general public and owners are reminded not to easily believe some unidentified advertising materials, sales promotion materials, fax materials and notices with various titles on the Internet. Even if they are interested, they should be verified by relevant departments. If they are in doubt, they can also check with various competent departments. If suspicious clues are found, they should report them to the public security organs quickly, so as to avoid causing economic losses and other losses.
