There is no Fan family

There are only two "Fan Ji" and "Fan Family" in Xi'an. The two companies have been fighting over trademarks for many years, but they actually have the same origin.

Fan Ji’s trademark belongs to the state-owned canteen in Zhupa City. At the beginning of the liberation, Old Man Fan (forgot its name) became a state-owned canteen after a public-private partnership. Later, his sons were not very willing. After inheriting, he gave this meat bun to the canteen, and after marketization, it has been registered as the "Fan Ji" trademark.

The Fan family's trademark seems to be the descendants of Old Man Fan who picked up the craftsmanship left by the old man again. The trademark he applied for can be considered authentic.

These are what I heard from my grandfather when I was a child. My grandfather’s house used to be near the South Courtyard Gate, very close to the Fan family. He even brought the meat he bought to Mr. Fan to make cured meat. Later, Fan It seems that the old man's family has also been moved to the vicinity of Longshou Village in the northern suburbs. My dad seems to have said that the further north you go to eat the more authentic the Fan family's meat buns become. I think the Fan family he is talking about is probably the current "Fan Family". Is that "Fan Ji" still Zhu Ba? The city is authentic. However, over the years, both companies have become very big and have their own chain stores. The management is quite standardized, and the quality is very consistent in larger stores.

In terms of taste, I actually think the two are similar. Maybe it’s because I have a rough taste, and I can’t tell the difference. I eat whichever one I encounter.
