In the world of spiders, females are usually much bigger than males. The black widow spider is a poisonous spider, which is produced in America. Its body is black and bright, and its abdomen is marked with red, which is easy to identify. Among the black widow spiders, the female spider is 100 times heavier than the male spider, which is the biggest difference between the male spider and the female spider.
Black widow spiders are distributed in Central Asia, West Asia, Southern Europe and North Africa. Its venom can destroy the nervous system of large livestock such as people, horses and cattle. Black widow spiders are fierce and aggressive. It not only bites farmers who work in the fields, but also enters the city, climbs into houses and hides in clothes or shoes, which makes people hard to prevent. Generally, spider bites only local redness and pain, and there are few systemic poisoning reactions. But after being bitten by the deadly black widow spider, the victim will be poisoned all over, so people especially hate the black widow spider. Black widow spiders are most toxic when mating in summer. Black widow spiders generally don't take the initiative to attack humans without being frightened. Black spiders often hide in dense grass, so when people work and rest in the grass, they should look around for traces of black spiders, and it is best not to go barefoot.
In the summer of 2002, the black widow spider raged in southern Serbia. Many people were hospitalized after being bitten and poisoned by this black spider, and even lost their lives. The "evil deeds" of the black widow spider have aroused great concern of Yugoslav agricultural experts. Experts say that female black widow spiders are more toxic than male spiders. That summer, the climate in southern Serbia changed greatly, which may be the reason for the expansion of the local black widow spider population.
Located in Romania, the Black Sea Resort is known as the "Pearl of the Black Sea" and attracts a large number of tourists every summer. But in recent years, there has been a poisonous black widow spider attack here, causing many deaths and injuries. The local hospital has issued a special alarm and quickly equipped it with a special antidote. One of the dead was 72-year-old Andre, who was bitten by a black widow spider in his yard. At first, he complained that his legs and kidneys were particularly painful, and then his whole body convulsed violently and he died the next day. Another deceased was 68-year-old Duma, who was bitten by a black widow female spider on the beach. He had an allergic reaction at that time, and people immediately sent him to the hospital, but two days later he died of anaphylactic shock caused by venom attack. The Romanian government attaches great importance to the black widow spider attack, trying to prevent this problem from affecting the tourism industry in the Black Sea region. On the one hand, the relevant government agencies issued warnings to all hospitals around the Black Sea, on the other hand, they quickly imported related detoxification drugs, and imported six kinds of wasps from Russia, because wasps are the natural enemies of black widow spiders.
