1. The mark applied for registration as a trademark must be distinctive, that is, it must be able to distinguish its products or services from those provided by others.
2. Words, designs, letters, numbers, product shapes or packaging can be registered as trademarks in the UK, but certain signs are not allowed to be registered (Articles 3-8 of the Trademark Law 1994) Article), including:
