Nanmen Shuan rou was founded in 1994, formerly known as Hongyuan Shuan rou. The head office is located in the south gate of Tiantan Park in the South Second Ring Road, and is often affectionately called South Gate Meat Rinse by customers.

Nanmen Shuan rou mainly deals in the traditional Muslim Shuan rou in old Beijing, with copper pot and clear soup as the base material, paying attention to the original flavor of the meat and demanding higher quality. In order to ensure the quality of hot pot, Nanmen hot pot built its own pasture in Hebei, and raised and processed mutton by itself to ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients.
