2. Engraving method of case bottom cover.
the authentic Citizen (the film has not been removed) is engraved by laser, and the lettering of the same font, such as logo and number, has the same depth. The serial number "Watch model+manufacturing number" of genuine licensed products is unique, which is consistent with the barcode label of the single product affixed on the warranty card. Fake watches often have different lettering depths or widths, and inferior imitations and even lettering will be blurred. Moreover, there are only a few serial numbers of fakes, most of which are the same.
3, internal movement.
The outer frame part of the genuine Citizen movement (known as the fixing ring in the industry) is obviously different. The shape and color of the fake fixing ring are different from those of the genuine one, especially the fixing ring is very poor in workmanship and has large burrs.
4. Watch number.
Genuine Citizen watches have a fixed numbering rule, and each watch has its own unique serial number. According to the serial number, you can query the specifications, model, date of manufacture and place of sale of the watch, and the position of the serial number is different according to different models. Counterfeit watches generally only use a uniform number, or even no number. Even if high imitation products are engraved with serial numbers, most of them only appear in a single position on the back cover of the watch. The production serial number of a genuine watch is unique, and the number identification of a fake watch does not conform to CITIZEN's rules. In fact, the number hides many statements, including the movement, style, shell type, the way to open the watch, etc. Even the production serial numbers of many watches are the same, and they are automatically Shi Ying regardless of men's watches and women's watches.
5. bracelet and clasp.
the bracelet and clasp of genuine Citizen watches are fine and exquisite, and there will be no obvious polishing marks, and each connecting block of the metal bracelet is full and natural. And those watches that can clearly see the traces of bracelet processing must be fake Citizen watches. Although some fake watch straps with butterfly buttons are fine in workmanship, there are still cases where they are not polished carefully at the corners of the connection. As long as you observe them carefully, you can find flaws.
6. Watch hands.
when the hands of fake watches are carefully observed with eyepiece, we can find subtle installation marks, mostly the marks left by tweezers, while genuine Citizen watches will not see similar marks at all. The blue steel hands of counterfeit Citizen watches are generally coated with pigment, which is a little transparent, while the genuine blue steel hands are blue produced by metal hot working technology, which looks deeper and has low reflective strength. Japanese watch hands are characterized by bright electroplating. The shape and length of the hands should be consistent with the dial, and the color of the bright spot at night should be the same as that on the dial. It also includes the LOGO of CITIZEN trademark, and it should be bright and regular, without skew and burr. Fake watches are often not good at this point.
7. the number of the watch dial.
at the bottom of the dial at 6 o'clock and next to the glass aperture, there will be a small line of letters, but it is very clear. For example: Japan 82 821634–K, respectively, the origin, movement number and dial number (see picture). The number of the fake watch is either missing or incomplete or printed vaguely, and it is scribbled.
