MSC certification certification process

·For aquatic products companies, if they want to obtain MSC certification, they must first find MSC raw materials.

·Secondly, enterprises should have corresponding traceability/identification/isolation systems that can complete all aspects from the receipt, storage, processing of raw materials to the shipment of finished products.

·Again, submit an application, fill out the application form, indicate the source of raw materials, details of the company information, and agree on the fee. ·Finally agree on the audit time with the certification body.

·If your product uses fish as the main raw material and the fish species has MSC raw materials, it can be certified.

Extension of certification scope

·If a certified client wishes to extend the scope of its certification, the certification body determines whether the same management system is suitable for the additional sites, product types and/or New categories and maintenance of compliance with MSC chain of custody standards.

·The certification body completes a review of all information and determines whether additional on-site audits are needed before chain of custody certification is modified.

·If there is no need to add on-site audits, the certification body needs to record its judgment.

·The on-site audit needs to be carried out according to the procedures of the initial audit.

·The certification body should upgrade the client's certification scope in the MSC database and, if necessary, issue a new scope catalog within 10 days.

·The certification body can only notify customers to add the logo and trade of MSC products to their certificates after their products appear on the MSC website, and provide customers with a trademark license agreement.
