Hu Aishan, also known as Yam, is the name of the finished product of Yam. Perennial herb with creeping stems, usually purplish, cylindrical roots, opposite leaves, oval or oval flowers, and dioecious. Root tuber contains starch and protein, which is edible.
Gui Long Hu Aishan planting area is mainly located in Longan Village, Pancun Village and Fengtian Village, Gui Long Town, Wujiang District, Shaoguan City. Hu Aishan has been planted in Longan Village for more than 40 years. Hu Aishan is the main dominant agricultural product in the local area, but the output of traditional planting methods is generally around 1000- 1250 kg, and its shape is poor. In order to solve the problem of low yield and large price difference in Hu Aishan Mountain, in recent years, Longan Hu Aishan Cooperative has organized relevant technicians to optimize varieties through two years of practical experiments, and successfully summed up a set of water and fertilizer integrated planting methods of "high-yield cultivation technology of drilling and sand irrigation in Hu Aishan Mountain". The success of this technology not only saves labor and time, but also greatly improves the output. Compared with traditional planting methods, the yield per mu can be increased by 300 to 500 kilograms, from 2000 kilograms per mu to about 4000 kilograms. Moreover, the yam is round, straight and white, which looks good. At the same time, it also solves the problem that Hu Aishan can only grow on sandy soil. Using this new technology, even in general soil and cohesive soil, it is equally high-yielding. Now Hu Aishan longan has become a local variety of longan. It is different from other varieties in Hu Aishan, with good shape, smoothness, good taste and sweet taste. With its own advantages, it has strong competitiveness in the market and is more popular with consumers.
Brief introduction of Hu Aishan Gui Long production plant
Hu Aishan Production Professional Cooperative in Longan, Wujiang District, Shaoguan City: Hu Aishan has been planted in Longan Village for nearly 40 years. Because it is a single production and operation, its ability to open up markets and resist risks is weak, and its economic benefits have been stagnant for a long time. In order to change this passive situation, in 2007, Lai Dexiong, the village director, took the lead in mobilizing several large growers in the village and established the first farmers' professional cooperative in Wujiang District-Hu Aishan Production Professional Cooperative. Later, Lai Dexiong boldly mobilized members to become shareholders, and the share capital reached more than 370,000 yuan at the end of the year, and led the cooperative members to contract 300 mu of dam land for the village Committee, and invested and developed 45 mu of Hu Aishan planting base as a cooperative; At the same time, it signed 1 10 mu of farmland with some migrant farmers as a vegetable planting base for cooperative development; Set up agricultural service stations for members and sell them to local members and farmers at a price lower than the market 10%- 15%. The villagers' enthusiasm for planting was mobilized, which led the whole village to plant more than 2,000 mu of Hu Aishan in that year.
In order to scientifically plant Hu Aishan, the cooperative organized a "field class", invited experts to teach "the True Classics", helped guide villagers to fertilize, set up sheds and prune, and trained 5,000 farmers in three years. The president and several large families went to Yuhu Town, Jiexi to learn Hu Aishan's shallow tillage technology. They first tried planting in their own farmland, and then promoted it in the whole society after the trial planting was successful, so that the output value per mu increased from 3,500 yuan to 4,500 yuan. It not only improved the level of science and technology, but also increased the income of farmers, and also made the cooperative develop by leaps and bounds. In 2007, it obtained the certification of 3000 mu pollution-free base in Hu Aishan and pollution-free certification of agricultural products in Hu Aishan. In 2008, he applied for registration of the trademark "Shuanglong", established a product information website and made exquisite packaging boxes. From then on, Hu Aishan had his own "identity" in longan, which greatly improved the product quality and market competitiveness.
Then, the president led the cooperative members to conduct market research in Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and set up a "Shuanglong" brand Hu Aishan sales point in Buji, Shenzhen, which was promoted nationwide. After his unremitting efforts, Longan Hu Aishan finally went out and exported to Hunan, Jiangxi, Singapore and other domestic and foreign markets. Last year, we signed purchase agreements with major sales companies such as Xinjiang and Jiangsu, and got an order for 300 tons. The development of the market not only shortened the sales cycle in Hu Aishan by four months and improved the land utilization rate, but also made the average price in Hu Aishan soar from 3 yuan/kg to 6 yuan/kg. In 2009, the cooperative earned more than 800,000 yuan and returned more than 600,000 yuan to its members, which led more than 250 farmers to plant more than 4,500 mu of Hu Aishan. The annual output value of Hu Aishan in the whole village reached more than 6.5438+million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers exceeded 6,000 yuan, an increase of 654.38+02%. This institution has won the title of national and provincial demonstration institution.
