Together with Tianzhu, Tiantie, Gawu, turquoise, amber and coral, the Eight Diagrams and Nine Palaces Mantra Wheel Card is the "seven treasures to ward off evil spirits" of Tantric Buddhism. According to legend, the mantra wheel diagram of Jiugong Bagua originated from the Manjusri Bagua diagram of Jiugong, the master of Lotus Peanut, the founder of Tibetan tantric school. Gathered in Brahma, Tibet and Han to get rid of all kinds of fierce towns and houses.
Extended data:
In the outermost circle of Jiugong Bagua, there is an angry four-handed beast with sharp teeth. It is called Zibazha in Tibetan, and some people call it Tai Sui Xing Jun. There are three circles in the middle of the card. The outermost circle is the zodiac.
The middle circle is the acquired gossip pattern. The eight diagrams of the day after tomorrow rotate clockwise from top to bottom, which are: Li, Kun, Right, Gan, Kan, Kun, Truth and Xun, representing fire, earth, ze, heaven, water, mountain, thunder and wind respectively. The inner ring is a nine-square pattern on the turtle's back, which conforms to what China people say: "Wear nine shoes, one shoulder, two shoulders, six feet, three left and seven right".
