Qu Hui millet is mainly produced within ten miles around Lijiagou Village, southwest of Nanshan District, Qu Hui Town, Anqiu City. Many species are in terraced fields on mountains from 330 meters to 380 meters above sea level. The soil is rich in organic matter, sunny and pollution-free. In spring, seeds are sown in dry fields, and no water is poured, but farmyard manure and cake manure are used. They grow entirely by natural conditions. The unique geographical environment and geological conditions make the millet produced there small and beige.

Qu Hui Xiaomi is a regional brand, which has been passed down from mouth to mouth by its excellent quality.

20 12 On May 24th, the registered protection of geographical indications of national agricultural products of Quhui Wanghaishan Xiaomi, which was applied by Baiquan Chungu Planting Professional Cooperative in Anqiu City, passed the examination of the Agricultural Products Quality and Safety Center of the Ministry of Agriculture and organized expert review, which met the registration protection conditions stipulated in the Measures for the Administration of Geographical Indications of Agricultural Products. The Ministry of Agriculture intends to grant registration and implement protection according to law.

Qu Hui millet production area belongs to Quhui Town, Anqiu City, with Lijiagou as the center, reaching Lime Kiln Village in the west, Fanjiazhuangzi Village in the east, Zhaojiagou Village in the north and Shi Jiayu Village in the south, which governs 28 natural villages.
