In 2001, the company was established in the National Yangling Agricultural High-tech Industry Demonstration Zone as a technology-based enterprise integrating the selection and breeding of medicinal plants and woody oil plant varieties, high-yield cultivation, and deep processing. In 2002, the company independently developed a honeysuckle tea production line with an annual production capacity of 1,000 tons. In the same year, Jinshan brand honeysuckle tea won the Houji Award at the 9th Agricultural High-tech Achievements Expo.

In 2003, the company undertook the national Yangling agricultural demonstration Chinese medicinal materials honeysuckle and Schisandra chinensis scientific and technological achievement demonstration base project. The company established long-term school-enterprise cooperation relationships with Northwest Agricultural and Forestry University and Yangling Vocational and Technical College.

In 2005, the company cultivated an excellent honeysuckle variety, tree-type honeysuckle Jinhua No. 3, and promoted it to a domestic demonstration base of 5,000 acres.

In 2007, the company and experts from Northwest Agriculture and Forestry University jointly selected and bred the biodiesel tree species Wenguan No. 1, which is at the leading level in the country.

In 2008, the company undertook the Shaanxi Provincial Technical Supervision Bureau’s honeysuckle standardization demonstration base project and successfully passed the assessment and acceptance.

In 2009, the Shaanxi Provincial Technical Supervision Bureau and the Shaanxi Provincial Forestry Department commissioned the company to formulate Shaanxi Province's tree honeysuckle cultivation technical regulations and local standards for honeysuckle seedlings, in cooperation with the Northwest Forestry Research Center and the Shaanxi Provincial Seedling Station** *Together with the formulation of the "Technical Regulations for the Cultivation of P. elegans".

In 2010, the trademark for the new variety of Wenguanguo No. 1 was approved and registered by the State Trademark Office.
