Apply to the Trademark Office

Step one: Prepare materials

You need to prepare a copy of the business license and stamp it with the official seal.

Step 2: Open the official trademark registration website and register an account

Open the China Trademark Network of the Trademark Office of the State Intellectual Property Office, and then click the trademark online application on the homepage,

Next, an agreement box will pop up, click "I accept" to enter the login interface. Generally, you do not have an account when logging in for the first time. You need to register an account.

Click "Register Now":

Then, click Apply, and the following interface will appear:

Set the user name yourself, and write the company name as the applicant's name , the address is the registered address on the business license. If there is no province or city information, add it yourself. (Important: Be sure to write the business license address. If you fill in other addresses, the Trademark Office will review it and think that your business license address is inconsistent with what you filled in. You will not be able to apply for a digital certificate and there is no way to apply online. All intermediate documents are electronic. When issued, it will be sent to your email, and you can download it in the system. However, if there is a trademark rejection in the process, the rejection document will be issued in paper. If there is an objection, the objection document will also be issued in paper. Yes, it will be sent to your business license address)

Contact person: Write the contact number, phone number, and email address that can receive letters from the Trademark Office. This email address is the email address where the Trademark Office will notify you of sending documents. You must have an email address that can receive emails. This email address will also be used to send verification codes when downloading digital certificates.

Upload the business license, a copy of the business license (remember it is a copy!), stamp, and official seal in the supporting documents. In order to ensure the smooth application of the soft certificate, it is recommended to stamp the seal in the blank space of the business license. to facilitate the Trademark Office’s review. (Be sure to keep it clear)

When uploading, export it to PDF for upload.

The username is what you will use to log in to the Trademark Office system in the future. Try to set it so that you can remember it. It will be quite troublesome if you forget it.

After the upload is successful, download the soft certificate and install it.

After submitting, you will wait for the review of the trademark. After successful submission, there will be an "activation code" (you must remember the "activation code", you need to use it when you log in for the first time.)

Then just wait for the email notification.

After the user passes the review, you will receive an email notification and you can download your exclusive certificate.

First download the certificate. After completing the download and installation, enter the login page and follow the prompts to log in.

The third step is to log in to the system and register the trademark

First open the login interface:

Then enter: PIN code on the login interface (the PIN code for first login, in the email)

After successful login, you can start when you see the page below. Trademark registration application".

Then fill in the following respectively:

1) Home page options

2) Applicant information

3) Trademark statement

4) ***Same application information (generally the default is sufficient)

5) Priority information (generally the default)

6) Products (key parts)

Just follow the default selections above. The "product" part below is the key. The product is where you want to use your product and in which category you want to use your trademark. The key here is to "select only one category at a time", "click to add goods/services" to enter category selection, and select only one category at a time.

For example, if I choose the 05 category, then this time I will only select the small items in the 05 category.

In each group (0501, 0502, 0503, 0504 are all groups), in each group, select 1 small item to protect the entire group; each group After all groups are protected, this major category can be protected.

Remember: Only apply for one category at a time.

7) Icon style

After selecting the product, upload the style of the registered trademark. Generally, a black and white draft will suffice. Recommended image size: 800*800, within 200k. For example: Bestore’s logo:

After completing this step, you can click to submit this category.

Then, repeat this operation and register all the categories you need to choose. When registering for the next category and selecting goods/services, the content of the last registered category will appear. You can click "Delete All".

After all applications are completed, you can wait for the payment notice from the Trademark Office, which takes about 15 days. After 15 days, you can pay the fee after receiving the email. After paying the fee, you will receive the acceptance notice half a month later, and the official result will be issued in 5-6 months. During this period, pay attention to keeping your mobile phone and email open, and just process the messages in a timely manner.
