Last night, I dreamed that the high-speed train passed by my door.

Brand-new and stylish train station, spacious ticket hall. I waited at the window early with excitement and bought the first train ticket for the new station. "Dear passengers, the GXXX train from XX to XX is about to leave. Please hurry up to check in and get on the train." A sweet announcement came from the waiting hall, and I excitedly passed the security checkpoint first... then I suddenly woke up , it turns out that I just had a dream.

As the saying goes, you have something to think about every day and something to dream about at night. The dream of high-speed rail is indeed too tempting for me as a Yugan person. The world's first railway opened between Stockton and Darlington in the UK 190 years ago; China's first railway opened between the Shanghai Concession and Wusong 139 years ago; Jiangxi's first railway Nanxun Line, Opened nearly 100 years ago. Counties and cities around Yugan have already been connected to railways. However, what is regrettable is that Yugan, as an ancient county in the early Qin Dynasty, an old revolutionary area, a national commercial grain base, and a large county with a population of one million, has not yet had a single passenger railway, let alone No need to talk about high-speed rail.

When I was a child, my hometown was very closed and the transportation was extremely inconvenient. What I hoped for most at that time was to experience the feeling of riding a train, even if it was just to see with my own eyes what the tracks looked like, how big the carriages were, and how long the train was. I remember that when I was studying at Shangrao University in the 1990s, on the first weekend of school, I took my classmates and ran to Shangrao Railway Station, watching the trains entering and exiting the station through the fence, and listening to the whistle and running of the trains. The sound of the wheels hitting the rails was mesmerizing. The two classmates who accompanied me had already had trains in their hometowns, so they were used to all this. They looked at me with kind sympathy. In a dormitory on a suburban campus, the faint whistling of the train in the distance late at night once traveled warmly through my fragile dreams every night. When I went home for the National Day in 1990, I took the train for the first time from Shangrao to Yingtan, and then transferred to the bus back to my hometown. The trains at that time were too crowded and too slow. I remember I climbed in through the train toilet window and the aisle was crowded with people. The train journey from Shangrao to Yingtan took four hours. It was like a snail's pace.

When the first dawn of the 21st century dawns, my country’s total railway mileage has reached nearly 70,000 kilometers. However, the narrow rails still cannot extend to the red land on the south bank of Pohu Lake. In 2005, Yugan finally ushered in the first section of railway, which was a dedicated railway line for Huanghuangbu Power Plant from Huaqiao in Yujiang County, connecting the main line of Anhui and Jiangxi, with a total length of 19.88 kilometers. I was engaged in reporting work at the time, and when I saw the train entering Yugan County for the first time, I couldn't express my joy! Unfortunately, however, this line only transports coal to the power plant and can only be accessed but not exited. The people of Yugan are still far away from their dream of traveling by train.

Although later, the opening of the Changwan Highway made the transportation from Yugan to the provincial capital Nanchang more convenient; Jingying Expressway and Dechang Expressway passed through Yugan, and they were located in Huanghuangbu Town and Wuni Town respectively. Now that I have the exit, traveling by car is more convenient, but for me who suffers from severe motion sickness, traveling is still a worrying thing. It would be great if there could be a passenger railway passing through Yugan, so traveling by train would be comfortable and economical!

Not long ago, there was good news that the Changjing-Huangzhou intercity railway has been included in the national railway’s preliminary plan for the 13th Five-Year Plan. This railway is about 350 kilometers long, with a design speed of 250 kilometers per hour and room for improvement. There are 7 stations along the way, including Yugan Station. The plan believes that the completion of this line will solve the problem of the lack of passenger railways in the rest of Jiangxi Province, greatly improve the railway network in northeastern Jiangxi, improve transportation in the lake area, activate the economic construction of the Poyang Lake Ecological Economic Zone, and have a positive impact on the economic development of Jiangxi and the Nanchang metropolitan area. The improvement of the system has very positive significance; it is of great significance to the economic cooperation between Anhui and Jiangxi provinces.

After reading this news, I feel extremely excited, which can be expressed by Du Fu's poem "The book is filled with joy and joy"! Of course, this is only the preliminary planning plan of the National Railway Administration. I hope this will be the final plan, because the people of Yugan have been looking forward to the railway for more than 100 years. This high-speed railway carries the dreams of happiness, well-off society and the Chinese dream of more than one million people. , can’t wait any longer, can’t wait any longer!

Looking forward to the 13th Five-Year Plan, I seem to see the brand-new and shining rails of the Changjing-Huangzhou Intercity High-speed Railway extending from the endless horizon to the door of my home, with rows of bullet-headed locomotives pulling long and glowing trains. The silver car body whizzes past like lightning. On both sides of the railway, there are thousands of golden rice fields, neat rows of roadside trees, endless green lotus ponds with lotus leaves touching the sky, and red walls and green tiles dotting the roadside. The infinitely beautiful picture of the dreamy water town on the south bank of Pohu Lake slowly unfolds. I couldn’t wait to say to my daughter:

Hurry up and pack your bags, let’s go see the sea together now!

Pack your bags quickly, let’s get on the train to Lhasa! !
