Yangjiang Dongcheng District. The largest number of factories in Yangjiang is in Yangjiang Dongcheng District, so most of them are concentrated in Yangjiang Dongcheng District. Yangjiang was approved by the State Council in February 1988 to withdraw from Yangjiang County and establish Yangjiang City as a prefecture-level city. It governs Yangxi County, Yangdong District and Jiangcheng District, and manages Yangchun City (county-level city).
