How to perform trademark authorization? What should you pay attention to when applying for trademark authorization?

Lawyer Ma Yingqiu’s answer: Hello, I am very happy to answer your two questions: "How to perform trademark authorization and what should be paid attention to when applying for trademark authorization." First of all, trademark authorization, also known as trademark license, means that the trademark registrant authorizes others to use its registered trademark by signing a trademark use authorization contract. The authorized person engages in business activities (usually producing and selling a certain product or providing a certain service) as stipulated in the contract, and pays the licensor the corresponding fees - royalties; at the same time, the licensor provides personnel training, organizational design, operation management, etc. guidance and assistance. The Trademark Law stipulates that the licensor shall supervise the quality of the goods used by the licensee using its registered trademark. The licensee shall ensure the quality of the goods using the registered trademark. If the registered trademark of another person is used with permission, the name of the licensee and the place of origin of the goods must be marked on the goods using the registered trademark. Secondly, according to Article 40, Paragraph 2 of the Trademark Law, if someone is licensed to use another person’s registered trademark, the name of the licensee and the place of origin of the goods must be marked on the goods using the registered trademark. Anyone who violates the above provisions and fails to indicate the name of the licensee and the origin of the goods shall be ordered by the industrial and commercial administrative department to make corrections within a time limit; if the correction is not made within the time limit, the trademark and logo shall be confiscated; if the trademark and logo are difficult to separate from the goods, they shall be confiscated and destroyed together.
