Food means food.
Food (English: Food) refers to substances that can meet the body’s normal physiological and biochemical energy needs and extend normal life span. For the human body, substances that can meet the needs of normal life activities and help extend life are called food.
Food is usually composed of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, and water. It is a substance that can provide nutrition or pleasure to humans or organisms through eating or drinking. Food sources can be plants, animals, or organisms from other kingdoms, such as fungi, or fermented products such as alcohol. Human beings obtain food in many different ways such as gathering, farming, animal husbandry, hunting, fishing and hunting.
Food mainly comes from natural resources that can be eaten directly or indirectly in nature. Each living body has different physiological functional needs, different physiological mechanisms, and different ways of survival, resulting in huge differences in the food of different living bodies. For example, the food of herbivores such as horses is mainly grass and other substances, and the food of carnivores such as tigers is mainly animal food.
Plant food is mainly nutrients in various soils. But no matter which kind of life form, the final food elements are the same. The earth's surface basically contains the basic nutrients needed by all living things, and also produces a variety of species, forming a special biosphere on the earth's surface and forming a complex ecosystem.
