Peacock's tail is made up of colorful slender feathers. When it is closed, it hangs on the peacock's tail and rubs on the ground as the peacock moves, just like a broom. But peacocks will open their screens when courting, and their tails will stand upright and open to both sides, similar to the shape of a fan.
