4. Beijing Ruifuxiang Silk Shop was founded in 1893 (19th year of Guangxu reign of Qing Dynasty), which was funded by the Meng family who started from selling stockade cloth (homespun) in Jiujun Town, Zhangqiu, Shandong Province. The owner is Meng Luochuan, the sixty-eighth grandson of Mencius.

6. Beijing Ruifuxiang is the largest of the 24 stores opened by the Meng family in China. After the opening, the business was booming, and it made a big name for a time. At that time, there was a ballad in Beijing that praised others for their wealth: "Ma Juyuan is on the top of his head, his feet are inline, and he is wearing Rui Fu Xiang." It can be seen how beautiful Rui Fuxiang was at that time.

8. In 19 (the 26th year of Guangxu reign of Qing Dynasty), Eight-Nation Alliance invaded Beijing, and a big fire made Dashilan full of flowers, and Rui Fuxiang was not spared. All the accounts and articles in the store were reduced to ashes. In the face of this huge disaster, the head of Ruifuxiang was not destroyed by this suffocating dilemma. He resolutely solemnly promised to the society that all the money owed by Ruifuxiang to customers would be returned; All the money owed by customers to Rui Fuxiang is written off.

In order to save the fate of Rui Fu Xiang, Meng Jin Hou found the lost old shop assistant and set up a stall on the ruins of Dashilan.
