The American Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company was founded in 1898 and has a history of more than 100 years. Goodyear is the world's largest tire production company, headquartered in Akron, Ohio, USA. The company mainly produces tires, engineering rubber products and chemical products in more than 90 factories in 28 countries. Today, Goodyear has more than 80,000 employees worldwide.

In the United States in 1898, there were all kinds of vehicles on the road. From horses and carriages to the recently born automobiles, they all urgently need a mat that can cushion the impact of the road. So the Frank Siebel brothers bought a cardboard factory east of Akron, Ohio, and began manufacturing rubber products. In order to commemorate Mr. Charles Goodyear, who invented "vulcanization" in 1839, the brothers named the company "Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company" and chose "Feizu" as their trademark, taking its graceful and swift meaning.
