1. Trademark submission: Prepare the above information and submit a trademark registration application to the relevant agency;
2. Trademark review: Conduct review based on the submitted materials and trademark. It will mainly go through two steps: formal review and substantive review. Examine whether the trademark complies with the specifications, whether the trademark meets existing requirements, whether the trademarks overlap or are similar, etc.
If the trademark has not been reviewed. The official will notify the applicant in writing and inform the applicant of the reasons for rejection. The applicant may submit for reexamination within the time limit from the date of receipt of the rejection notice;
3. Chilean Trademark Announcement
After review, the examining officer believes that the trademark application can be accepted. An announcement will be published in the Chilean Official Trademark Gazette.
