In order to standardize online commodity trading and related service behaviors, protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers and operators, and promote the sustained and healthy development of the network economy, the Measures for the Administration of Online Trading (hereinafter referred to as the Measures) are formulated in accordance with the Contract Law, Tort Liability Law, Consumer Rights Protection Law, Product Quality Law, Anti-Unfair Competition Law, Trademark Law, Advertising Law and Food Safety Law. The Measures were deliberated and adopted at the executive meeting of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce of the People's Republic of China (hereinafter referred to as "the State Administration for Industry and Commerce"), promulgated by Order No.60 of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce on 20 14/0/26, and shall come into force as of March 5, 20 14, and shall be abolished at the same time.

The "Measures" require that online commodity operators sell goods, and consumers have the right to return them within seven days from the date of receiving the goods without giving reasons; Except for fresh and perishable goods and fixed products. Consumers' online shopping "right to regret" will be supported at the level of laws and departmental regulations.
