At present, the trademark agent qualification examination has been cancelled. There are no specific qualification requirements. As long as an intellectual property company is established, ordinary personnel can engage in trademark agency business.
A trademark agent is a person who engages in trademark agency affairs registered with the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce. After the State Council canceled the two administrative approvals of "Trademark Agency Organization Approval" and "Trademark Agent Qualification Approval" on February 27, 2003, the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce will no longer hold the "National Trademark Agent Qualification Examination."
