What is the procedure for applying for registration of a British trademark?
1. Submit an application: the applicant fills in the Application Form for British Trademark Registration, and then can apply to the British Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) in person or entrust a British trademark agent to apply.

2. Trademark review: The trademark review process is divided into two procedures, namely, substantive review and formal review. Formal procedure review is the review of application documents, trademark marks, power of attorney and other related documents after submitting a trademark application in Britain. In accordance with the relevant provisions, the applicant shall be given an acceptance receipt. The examination of substantive procedure is conducted by the British Intellectual Property Office (UKIPO) according to British law, to examine whether a trademark can be registered in the UK, whether it is similar or similar to a trademark with prior rights in the UK, and whether the application for trademark marking violates the prohibition clause of the Trademark Law.

3. Announcement: After examination by the UKIPO examiner, it is decided that the trademark complies with the relevant regulations, and the registration is authorized, and then a formal trademark announcement is issued for a period of three months, which is also a three-month objection period.

4. Approval of registration: After the trademark passes the examination procedure and the objection period is announced, the registration of the trademark in the UK will be officially passed, and the applicant can receive the British trademark registration certificate.
