How soon will all the trademark review and decision documents be released to the public?

According to the website of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, a system for comprehensive and real-time disclosure of trademark review and award documents has been initially established. It was put into trial operation on the 15th and 1,573 trademark review and award documents were automatically published. The system will be officially launched on December 28. At that time, all ruling documents issued by the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board, except those that are not disclosed in accordance with relevant regulations, will be automatically published and actively accept public supervision. It is understood that in accordance with the requirements of “orderly disclosing case ruling documents and actively accepting social supervision” proposed by Zhang Mao, Director of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce at the National Industry and Commerce and Market Supervision Work Conference in December 2016, the Trademark Review and Adjudication Review Committee has, since December 2016, Every month, 60 review and ruling documents are disclosed through random selection, and currently 710 documents are disclosed. According to reports, the launch of a comprehensive and real-time disclosure system for trademark review and adjudication documents is a further expansion of the previous random disclosure. It is an important measure for the Trademark Review and Adjudication Review and Review Board to implement the reform spirit of the State Council’s “delegation, regulation and service” and the deployment of the Party Committee of the General Administration to increase the transparency of review work. After the system is officially put into operation, the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board’s decision to reject the review, the decision to deny registration, the decision to request for invalidation, the decision to review the invalidation, the decision to cancel the review, and other documents that have the effect of terminating the review process will be submitted to the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board. Within 20 working days from the date of mailing, all documents will be made public in the "Assessment Documents" column of the Trademark Review and Adjudication Board website.
