MP35N alloy is a nonmagnetic nickel-cobalt alloy with strength as high as 300ksi (2068MPa), good ductility, good toughness and excellent corrosion resistance. The material shows excellent resistance to vulcanization, high temperature oxidation and hydrogen embrittlement.

The unique properties of MP35N alloy come from work hardening, martensitic transformation and aging treatment. If the material is in a state of complete work hardening, the recommended processing temperature can reach 399℃.

*MP35N is a registered trademark of SPS Technology Company.

App application

MP35N can be used to manufacture fasteners, springs, non-magnetic electrical components and instrument parts used in medical, seawater, oil and gas wells, chemical and food processing industries.

rotproofness

MP35N alloy is resistant to vulcanization, high temperature oxidation, hydrogen embrittlement, salt solution and most inorganic acids.

The alloy shows excellent stress corrosion cracking resistance in high strength and harsh environment, while cracks will appear in most traditional alloys in the same harsh environment. At the same time, MP35N has excellent pitting corrosion resistance and crack corrosion resistance.

In seawater environment, MP35N is not affected by general crack corrosion and stress corrosion, regardless of strength grade and material state.

MP35N is an inert metal. If it is connected with more active metals, such as carbon steel, 3 16 stainless steel, Monel K series metals, etc., it is easy to produce electrochemical corrosion.

MP35N alloy has NACE MR-0 1-75 state, and the highest hardness is Rockwell hardness C35 (the highest hardness can reach Rockwell hardness C48 through special cold rolling and aging treatment). (NACE MR-0 1-75 is the sulfide stress cracking tolerance standard for metal materials used in oilfield equipment)
