In 1929, Guzhang "Green Fragrance Garden" Maojian Tea participated in the West Lake Expo organized by the Nanjing National Government and won the gold medal. In the same year, it participated in the French International Exposition and won the International Famous Tea Award. Since then, the Guzhang Maojian brand has been created. the first of its kind.

In 1957, Guzhang Maojian won the gold medal at the International Exposition in Leipzig, West Germany.

In 1978, the first famous tea competition in Xiangxi Prefecture was held in Dayong (now Zhangjiajie), and Guzhang Maojian won the first prize.

When the Ministry of Commerce selected the top 30 famous teas in the country in 1982, Guzhang Maojian ranked ninth and was selected into the top ten famous teas in China.

In 1983, it was rated as a national high-quality export product by the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation.

Won the gold medal at the first Beijing China Food Expo in 1988.

In 1990, it was listed as a designated product for the 11th Asian Games in Beijing.

In 1999, it won the title of famous brand product at the China International Agricultural Expo and was rated as "Hunan Famous Brand Product".

In 2001 and 2002, it won the China, Japan and South Korea International Famous Tea Gold Award.

In August 2002, the Guzhang County National Tea Art Performance Team represented Hunan in the "Liu Sanjie Cup" National First Tea Ceremony and Tea Art Grand Prix and won the Outstanding Program Award.

In 2005, it was rated as one of the top ten famous teas in Hunan.

In 2007, Guzhang Maojian won the gold medal at the first World Green Tea Competition held in Shizuoka, Japan.

In 2008, it was awarded the Gold Award of China Green Tea Summit Forum. In the same year, "Guzhang Maojian" was rated as a famous trademark in Hunan Province.

In April 2010, the 2010 Chinese Tea Ancestor Festival·Guzhang Maojian tasting meeting for thousands of people was held in the county sports square, the fifth "Tea King Cup" tea fighting party, tea king selection, Guyang Town Xiangchun Hui won the title of "Golden Tea King".

In April 2011, the 2011 China (Guzhang) First Tea Culture Festival Guzhang Maojian Ten Thousand People Tasting Meeting was held in the county sports square, and the 6th "Tea King Cup" Tea Fighting Party Tea King Selection, Xiang Xianqing from Shuangxi Township was awarded the title of "Golden Tea King".
