What are the trademark registration fees and procedures?
In China, an average of 18000 trademarks are registered every day. At present, there are 20 million registered trademark names in the Trademark Office, and good trademark names within three words no longer exist. Therefore, the sooner you register the trademark names that the big bosses have pondered, the better. Be careful to be one step ahead.

In fact, trademark registration is not as complicated as everyone thinks. Bian Xiao will talk to you about the specific matters of trademark registration fees and procedures.

What's the lowest price for a trademark? 900? 1200? 1600? Why is the market price uneven, the lower the better, or do you firmly believe that there is a reward for paying? In fact, this year, the official has lowered the charging standard for trademark registration, and the market price is about 1500. When officially accepted, the local industrial and commercial bureau will submit the trademark you applied for to the State Trademark Office (of course, through the provincial industrial and commercial bureau), and the provincial industrial and commercial bureau will collect 1.500 yuan. It will take about a year to get the trademark registration certificate of the State Trademark Office after the application. The validity period is ten years, and the certificate is tested every two years. A copy is attached to you.

The trademark registration process can be roughly divided into eight steps:

Search and evaluate the risk of trademark registration, communicate and confirm the registration scheme-prepare and check the application materials-submit the registration application to the Trademark Office-formally review-issue a letter of acceptance of trademark application-substantively review-announcement period-issue a trademark registration certificate.

Formal examination: After receiving the application for trademark registration, the Trademark Office first conducts formal examination. Formal review is mainly divided into three parts: review of application documents (whether the documents are complete, whether the filling is standardized, and whether the signature/seal is missing), review of trademark patterns, clear procedures and necessary explanations, and classified review (review of the goods/services reported). Then, according to the results of formal examination, the Trademark Office mainly issues three kinds of notices: acceptance notice, correction notice and rejection notice. Due to the internal adjustment of the Trademark Office, this stage currently takes 4-6 months, and the formal review after adjustment takes 3-4 months.

Substantive examination: Substantive examination is to examine whether the trademark applied for registration meets the registration conditions. After passing this stage of examination, the Trademark Office will issue a notice of preliminary examination, and if it fails, the Trademark Office will also issue a notice of rejection. Together with the time spent on formal examination, this stage takes about 9 months, which is the most time-consuming stage in trademark registration.

Announcement of preliminary examination: after examination, the Trademark Office considers that the trademark applied for registration conforms to the relevant provisions of the Trademark Law, conducts preliminary examination and makes an announcement, which is called "Announcement of Preliminary Examination". This stage takes 3 months, and the time is fixed.

Certification: If all procedures are normal, there will be no trademark rejection and objection. The Trademark Office will approve the registration and prepare to issue the trademark certificate, which usually takes about 2-4 months.

It is not difficult to see that in the process of trademark registration, the normal registration process is about 14 months. If there is a trademark review or a trademark objection defense, the time will be longer. This situation is not what every applicant wants to see, so it is suggested that when registering a trademark, you can choose a formal agency to register the trademark.
