The lessor of a house rents the house to people without identity documents, or fails to register as required If the lessee's name, identity document type and number are found, a fine of not less than 200 yuan but not more than 500 yuan will be imposed.

If the lessor of a house knowingly knows that the lessee is using the rented house to carry out criminal activities and fails to report it to the public security organ, he shall be fined not less than 200 yuan but not more than 500 yuan; if the circumstances are serious, he shall be detained for not more than five days, and may be concurrently detained. A fine of not more than five hundred yuan shall be imposed.
