How do individuals transfer trademarks?
Legal analysis: Personal trademark transfer includes the following procedures:

1. The applicant may apply for trademark transfer in the reception hall of the Trademark Office, or entrust a qualified trademark agency to handle trademark transfer on his behalf;

2. Sign the trademark entrustment purchase contract number and pay the deposit, provide relevant documents, handle trademark notarization and sign the required documents;

3. Fax the notarial certificate of trademark transfer to the buyer, and the buyer and the notary office will confirm the procedures and make payment for the purchase;

4. Deliver the original trademark registration certificate, notarial certificate and other documents to the buyer, and submit the signed application and power of attorney to the Trademark Office;

The Trademark Office will issue an acceptance letter within one month and an approval certificate within ten to twelve months.

Legal basis: Article 42 of the Trademark Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) assigns a registered trademark, the assignor and the assignee shall sign an assignment agreement and file an application with the Trademark Office.
