China's national industry standards for water purifiers were promulgated in 2013, including "Special Requirements for Safety of Ultraviolet Radiation Water Treatment Equipment for Household and Similar Electrical Appliances", "Safe Hot and Cold Water Dispensers for Household and Similar Electrical Appliances" "Special Requirements for Household and Similar Purposes";
"Ultraviolet Sterilizers for Household and Similar Purposes" and "Pressure Tanks for Household and Similar Reverse Osmosis Water Purifiers and Nanofiltration Water Purifiers" The drafting working meeting of water purifier/water purifier industry standards was held in Kunming, Yunnan Province from May 17 to 19, 2013.
Among these four standards, the first two are national standards for water purifiers and are mandatory safety standards; the last two are industry standards and are recommended product standards.
Extended information:
Working principle:
First level: PP cotton: removes various visible objects/dust and impurities in tap water.
Second and third levels: Pre-activated carbon: The third level of some low-end water purifiers is also made of PP cotton, and the carbon removes chlorine and organic impurities. It also absorbs odors, colors and odors caused by organic compounds in the water.
Level 4: Ultrafiltration or reverse osmosis membrane: The membrane can remove bacteria, viruses, spores and other substances in the water.
Level 5: Post-activated carbon device: further improves the taste and removes odor.
