I. Different definitions

Shops: Enterprises hold formal brand authorization to open stores of this brand in Taobao Mall, which is called brand stores.

Franchise stores: enterprises operate multiple (at least two) brands under the same category of Taobao Mall, and such stores are called franchise stores.

Second, different business entities.

Shop: an enterprise legal person officially authorized by a brand or company.

Franchise: an enterprise legal person registered in Chinese mainland.

Third, the business scope is different.

Store: All products in the same category as authorized brands.

Franchise stores are not clearly defined.

Fourth, the difference of brand qualification.

Shop: the trademark registration certificate of the State Trademark Office issued by the brand, and the official authorization issued by the brand provided by the enterprise applying for opening the shop. The power of attorney need not be limited by region, and the validity period of authorization shall not be earlier than 20 15 12 3 1. If the brand owner is an individual, he should also provide a copy of his ID card and sign the power of attorney.
