Evergrande High-tech disclosed today that the Trademark Office of the State Administration for Industry and Commerce has recently recognized the “Hengda” trademark of Evergrande High-tech as a well-known trademark in China. However, the aforementioned "Hengda" trademark is not the "Hengda" trademark No. 6931816 that has caused disputes with Evergrande Real Estate, but the "Hengda" registered trademark for welding and metal processing services in Class 40 of the International Classification of Goods and Services.
Although it is not the above-mentioned "Hengda" trademark No. 6931816, Evergrande High-tech believes that the trademark being recognized as a well-known Chinese trademark will help protect the company's intellectual property rights and enhance the company's brand value and influence.
According to the information previously disclosed by Evergrande High-tech, the so-called "Hengda" trademark No. 6931816 refers to the 32nd class trademark, including beer, soy drinks, purified water (beverages), non-alcoholic juice drinks, etc. From the perspective of Evergrande High-tech, the company has legally owned the "Hengda" trademark applicable to Class 32 trademarks since May 2010, and claimed that Evergrande Bingquan has used the "Hengda Bingquan" trademark for publicity and promotion since November 2013. Selling drinking water products is an infringement.
