It is a super-large state-owned enterprise directly under the central government established on the basis of the enterprises and institutions affiliated to the former China State Shipbuilding Corporation. It is an investment institution authorized by the state, directly managed by the central government, and its legal representative is Lei Fanpei.

China Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. disclosed that its controlling shareholder, China Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd., is planning a strategic reorganization with China Shipbuilding Industry Group Co., Ltd., and the relevant plan has not yet been determined, and it needs to be approved by the relevant authorities.

With the approval of the State Council, China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation and China Shipbuilding Industry Corporation implemented joint reorganization.
