It can be seen that a registered trademark has a term of use. When the term expires, if it is necessary to continue to use it, it must be renewed according to law. Only after the renewal of registration can the right to use the trademark be protected by law; Otherwise, even the exclusive right to use a trademark obtained through legal procedures will be cancelled because the use period expires and the registration cannot be renewed. The Trademark Law also provides certain remedial measures. Article 32 of the Trademark Law stipulates: "If a registered trademark is revoked or not renewed upon expiration, the Trademark Office shall not approve an application for trademark registration that is the same as or similar to its trademark within one year from the date of revocation or cancellation." This provision prevents some people with ulterior motives from taking advantage of the loopholes in the law and rushing to register the revoked trademarks, so that the original trademark users still have the opportunity to take legal measures to remedy them. Of course, after this year, trademark users still do not take measures, and the law can be said to have done their best for them.
