The trademark registered in Madrid has a "central strike principle", that is, if the domestic registered trademark is invalid, the trademark registered in Madrid will also be invalid, but this central strike principle has a time limit, that is, within five years of international registration. So the basic registration number is invalid, and the Madrid trademark can of course be renewed. Materials required for updating include:

1. Chinese application for international registration of Madrid trademarks (Madrid International Trademark Registration Form II);

2. Foreign language application (mm11); +0);

3. A copy of the international registration certificate.

4. If an agent is entrusted, a power of attorney shall be attached.
