2. On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click Copy.
You can also press Ctrl+C to get keyboard shortcuts.
3. In the Word document, click the location where you want to paste the copied worksheet data.
4. On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click Paste.
You can also press Ctrl+V to get keyboard shortcuts.
5. Click Paste Options next to the data, and then do one of the following:
When pasting data into a Word table, click Keep Source Format if you want to use the original format of the copied data, or click Match Target Table Style if you want to use the document theme applied to a Word document.
To paste the data as a static picture, click Paste as Picture.
To paste a link to Excel data, so that when the original data in the Excel workbook changes, the data in the Word document will be updated accordingly, click "Keep the source format and link to Excel" or "Match the table style in the target area and link to Excel".
To paste the data as text, with each row displayed in a separate paragraph and cell values separated by tabs or spaces, click Keep Text Only.
(If you can't see the Paste Options button, you may need to turn it on. Click the Office button, and then click the Word option. In the Advanced category, under Cut, Copy and Paste, select the Show Paste Option Buttons check box. )
If you paste data into a Word table, the Paste Options button will display several different paste options. You can insert the copied data as a nested table, merge it with an existing table, insert it as a new row in an existing table, overwrite the cells in the existing table, or paste it as a static picture.
