Because my N73 is the Asia-Pacific version, I will talk more about the Asia-Pacific version. When using my own machine, there are almost no crashes or white screens. Although the third version of the system has less software, it is enough for now. You can identify whether it is the Asia-Pacific version through the following points. 1. Look at the keyboard. If the strokes were engraved later, it is the European version. If the numbers 2, 0, and 8 are not in a straight line, it may be the Asia-Pacific version. 3. Press and hold "#". If it switches to silent mode, it is the Asia-Pacific version; if there is no response, it is the European version; if it switches to the second line, it is the Hong Kong version. In the future, mainland licensed products may also switch to the second line.

Everyone must first know what accessories the N73 has. The most important accessories of the N73 are the battery, charger, and headphones, although the original HS-23 headphones are only average. Everyone must know the difference between original batteries and imitation batteries. In addition to checking the serial number, you can also tell the color of the reed and the authenticity of the label. Also, the two small dots on the bottom of the real battery are two small holes, while the imitation ones are almost flat. The original battery is very important. It can easily last for three days on standby without delaying listening to music and watching movies. Then there's the charger. The original configuration is an AC-4 charger, 100-240V, 890MA output current per hour, don’t let js fool you. There are also HS23 headphones. I’ll tell you about the headphones later. Now that the accessories are complete, you can choose a mobile phone.

First of all, make sure it is a brand new machine, not a refurbished one. Enter the *#92702689# command to see the call time on your phone. Then enter *#06# to see if the phone serial number is consistent with what is written on the machine under the battery. As for the serial number written on the box, don't worry about it. Parallel imports are definitely not from the original box.

At the same time, feel the keyboard of N73. The keyboard of the N73 feels great when pressed, and there is almost no sound. Texting is a pleasure. Also, the back cover of new mobile phones is generally not loose. However, after using it for a long time, it will become a little loose. Don't be afraid, it is within the acceptable range.

Then debug the machine according to the following four parts.

1. The screen you see first. This is the most important, please pay attention to it. Take the software Qreader1.87 with you. This is software for reading e-books. After installation, enter the program, set the background to white, black and other colors, and carefully observe whether there are bright spots, dark spots, and whether the screen has a color cast. If the environment is relatively bright, wrap it up in clothes and watch. At the same time, adjust the screen brightness to five levels. There should be a clear difference in brightness. The highest brightness is very bright and can even feel dazzling. In short, you must not let go of the screen. It is recommended to watch it for more than 10 minutes. Otherwise you will definitely regret it.

Most of the problems in this part are color casts, dead pixels, and very few have broken screens (a bit scary). Although the protective plastic of the 73 screen is softer than that of the 3230, it is definitely within the acceptable range. Some people say that if you put an egg on it, you can see the watermark on the screen, which is absolutely irresponsible.

, lens part. The mechanical shutter of the phone was a bit stiff at first, but I feel like the one I have now is very easy to use, maybe I’m used to it. During the shooting process, pay attention to observe whether there is any color cast. Also pay attention to whether the flash is normal. By the way, take a look at the front camera. Just open the camera in the system without opening the back cover. The front camera is very sensitive to light and performs well in daylight, but is noisy in a room.

The problem that arises in this part is that the photos taken occasionally become black and even unclear.

Occasionally, the flash does not fire. Let me explain here, because the N73 has an autofocus function, the flash will definitely light up when it autofocuses. When shooting, the flash will decide whether to light or not according to the light in the surrounding environment. Of course, it can also be forced off or on.

3. System part. Enter *#0000# first. My phone displays v2.0628.0.0.1, 10-07-2006, RM-133, Nokia N73(11). This is currently a relatively stable version, and most Asia-Pacific versions are this. It is best to install several programs at the same time. Such as smartmovie3.25, process management, office suite and other software to see if it can run. At the same time, use process management to check memory usage. When the computer is just turned on, the free memory is about 19-21MB. After running the program for a period of time, the minimum will be reduced to about 10. If you experience restarting or a white screen when the memory is very high, be careful.

4. Multimedia part.

First listen to the speaker with an MP3 player with a normal signal-to-noise ratio. Because it is a new phone, the effect will be better in the future. The speakers of the N73 are excellent. Not only is the volume extremely loud, but it also controls the broken sound very well. When the volume is at its maximum, there is no sense of broken sound at all. This is partly because the quality of the MP3 is not good, and it can be heard. Although the number of speaker holes at the top and bottom is different, the volume is almost the same and is almost indistinguishable. The N73 speaker focuses on high-frequency and mid-range audio, and is particularly good at restoring human voices, especially those of girls. However, it is still weak when it comes to bass, perhaps due to power saving considerations. If the bass is really good, it may consume more power than vibration.

Then there is the internal release. The effect of the original HS23 headphones really puts me to shame. Not only is the bass poor and the volume too low, but the sound is almost non-existent when watching 3GP videos. This is a common phenomenon. The solution is to use other headphones instead. AD49 adapter cable is good. I used kosspp, which is worth about 400 yuan. Listening to the N73's internal amplifier feels like the bass is thick, the volume is loud and surging, almost like listening to a CD, and the 3GP problem has been solved. So you don’t have to worry about the internal amplifier of the N73, even the MX500 with a few dozen yuan will be fine. Some people use Edifier H260, which is in-ear type.

Since this is the multimedia part, let’s mention pictures. The wallpaper used on the N73 is a 240x240 square picture. If you want a full-screen wallpaper, you need to create a theme. In fact, making a theme is very simple. You can learn slowly, or you can go to my theme website to do it yourself. If the picture for wallpaper is placed in minisd, the wallpaper will not be there when the card is removed and needs to be reset. So you can copy commonly used wallpapers directly to the phone storage.

Finally is the video part that everyone is concerned about.

N73 supports mp4, but the requirements are strict. The audio part must be aac. If it is mp3, it cannot be played. High-quality 3gp can completely replace mp4. The software I use is imtoo 3gp. The specific parameters are: encoding xvid, 320X240, code rate 256-512, frame number 15, audio part mpegaac, code rate 128Kbit/s, sampling rate 44khz, channel 2. The 3gp suppressed in this way is already comparable to mp4.

Of course, there is also the old smartmovie, which supports xvid and mp4 encoded avi. But it hasn't been cracked yet. pity.

N73 is not compatible with parallel-imported miniSD memory cards. Please try to buy genuine products. N73 supports 2G miniSD. I use a 1G kingmax licensed storage card, and there has been no problem so far, everything is normal.

Are you sure you want to buy it? Remember to call and listen, and ask different friends to call you a few more times. In addition to looking at the handset and microphone, if you turn on "Say caller's name" in profile mode, the phone will occasionally restart as soon as you answer the phone.

However, my N73 does not have this problem and can speak names and answer calls normally.
