Does registration need to be filed when licensing a trademark to others? What information is needed?

Hello. Licensing a trademark to others requires filing.

How to handle the filing after trademark authorization

1. Prepare trademark licensing filing materials

(1) Subject qualification certification documents of both the licensor and the licensee (Both parties provide a business license for the company, the licensor provides an ID card for an individual, and the licensee for an individual must provide an individual business license in addition to the ID card);

(2) Application documents: Trademark License contract filing application and power of attorney (issued when applying through an agency);

(3) Trademark registration certificate;

(4) Trademark signed/sealed by both parties If the license contract is in a foreign language, a Chinese translation must be attached. The contract must clearly state the permission to use the trademark, the products/services used and the period of use, etc.

2. Submit the application to the Trademark Office;

3. Review by the Trademark Office;

4. If the review is passed, the "Trademark License Contract Filing Notice" will be issued. .
