Wild ganoderma lucidum is widely distributed in the middle and high mountains above 500 meters above sea level. In the dark and humid broad-leaved forest, you can see wild Ganoderma growing around dead trees and stumps. Drug farmers have always regarded the collection of wild ganoderma lucidum as an important Chinese herbal medicine variety.
Artificial cultivation of Ganoderma lucidum in Jinzhai began in the 1990s. 1In February, 1993, the county science and technology commission introduced the cultivation technology of Ganoderma lucidum from Lu 'an Agricultural Institute, and carried out cultivation experiments of Ganoderma lucidum in Jun Jun Village, Jun Jun Township, and Nianwan Village, Shahe Township. Among them, a farmer named Li earned 4,000 yuan of Ganoderma lucidum fruiting body and 20,000 yuan of Ganoderma lucidum spore powder that year, which caused a sensation among farmers in the county. Since then, ganoderma lucidum production has been rapidly promoted throughout the county. 1995, more than 100 farmers in Shahe Township planted Ganoderma lucidum, and the output reached 10 tons. Merchants from Jiangsu, Jilin, Fujian and other places have come to purchase, and Jinzhai Ganoderma lucidum has begun to become famous in the country. 1996, the cultivated area of Ganoderma lucidum in the county was expanded from Shahe Township to seven towns including Guanmiao Township, Shuizhuping Township, Qingshan Town and Heyanzi Town. The output of Ganoderma lucidum is 90 tons, with spore powder 1 1 ton, with an output value of 5.3 million yuan, of which the output value of Ganoderma lucidum in Shahe Township is 3.7 million yuan, accounting for 70% of the total output of Ganoderma lucidum in the county. 1997, Ganoderma lucidum was cultivated in 9 towns and villages in the county/kloc-0, with an output of 500 tons and a total output value of160,000 yuan. 1998, the output of Ganoderma lucidum in Shahe Township reached its peak, with an annual output of more than 600 tons and an output value of 25 million yuan. Only the per capita income of the township increased by 1500 yuan, which was reported by the People's Daily, CCTV, Xinhua News Agency and other media, and Shahe Township became the "No.1 Township of Ganoderma lucidum in China". In 2003, the total output of Ganoderma lucidum in the county was 1205 tons, including 260 tons of spore powder, with a total output value of 52 million yuan. After that, Jinzhai County adjusted the development strategy of Ganoderma lucidum, adhered to the principle of total control, rational distribution and sustainable development, with an annual scale of 5 million branches and an output of about 500 tons, and remained the largest production base of Duanmu Ganoderma lucidum in China. Because Jinzhai Ganoderma lucidum developed earlier and has a high reputation in China, it has now formed a well-known Ganoderma lucidum trading market in China, with an annual trading volume of 1000 tons.
