Which country’s brand is mg?

MG (Morris Garages) was founded by Kimber, an employee of Viscount William Morris of the United Kingdom. It was originally the private property of Viscount Morris, so it was called Morris Garages. It was later sold to Viscount Morris. Morris Motor Company, the holding company of the company, is famous in the automotive industry for its two-door convertible sports cars. In 2005, Nanjing Automobile Company acquired the MG trademark after Rover's parent company declared bankruptcy, repackaged it and launched it as the "MG" brand. Nanjing Automobile Company was acquired by Shanghai Automobile in 2007. Shanghai Automobile dropped its Chinese name and was directly called MG. Has a manufacturing facility in Longbridge, Birmingham, UK.
