Step 1, router line connection
1. Insert the network cable of Guangmao into any one of 1, 2 and 3 network ports; If you don't have a computer at home, plug the broadband network cable into any of the three ports 1, 2 and 3.
2. Then use the network cable to connect the computer to the idle network ports in 1, 2 and 3. The complete connection diagram is as follows.
Note: the network cable interface of Glory Route 2 does not distinguish between WAN and LAN, that is, any network port can be used as WAN port and LAN port. When the system detects a network port connected to cat, it will automatically be used as a WAN port. This is the gospel for novice users, and there is no need to worry about the incorrect connection of routers, computers and optical cats in the future.
Step 2, set the computer IP address.
First, set the IP address of your computer to be obtained automatically.
Step 3: Set the router to access the Internet.
Open the setting interface.
Glory Route 2, when it is set for the first time, it will automatically open the browser software in the computer, and open the setting interface after the correct connection. If the setting interface does not open automatically, please enter:192.168.3.1in the browser to open the setting interface. In the setting interface of Glory Route 2, click the button "Experience Now" to enter the setting interface of Internet access parameters.
Setting Internet access parameters
Glory Route 2 is very intelligent. It will automatically detect the online mode, wait for a few seconds, and set the online parameters according to the detection results.
Broadband dial-up internet access
If the Internet access mode is detected as: broadband account access-you need to fill in your own broadband account and broadband password on the page-and then click "Next", as shown in the following figure.
Note: If you forget your broadband account and password, you can click the "Get from existing router" option and follow the prompts.
Automatically obtain IP
If it is detected that the internet access mode is dynamic IP, it will automatically enter the wireless parameter setting page.
Static IP
If it is detected that the Internet access mode is static IP-you need to fill in the IP address, subnet mask, default gateway, preferred DNS and backup DNS provided by the operator in the page, as shown in the figure below.
Set wireless parameters
Set the Wi-Fi name and Wi-Fi password of Glory Route 2 in the page, as shown in the figure below.
note:
1 .glory route 2 is turned on by default: 2.4G and 5G signals are combined into one signal by using the function of dual-frequency optimization. The system will automatically choose 2.4G network or 5G network for you according to the network conditions. If you need a separate 5G wireless signal, please turn off this function: Dual-band optimization, and then set the 5GWi-Fi signal.
2. The option "Use Wi-Fi password as the router management password" is checked by default, and the Wi-Fi password is also used as the login password of Glory Route 2.
If you need different login passwords and Wi-Fi passwords, you can turn off the option "Use Wi-Fi password as router management password" and set another login password.
Select Wi-Fi operation mode.
First, restore the function selection of the factory reserved key configuration: Enable -Wi-Fi power mode selection: Wi-Fi wall-penetrating mode-click Next, as shown below.
Restart the router
At this time, glory route 2 will automatically restart, and you can surf the Internet after the restart is completed.
Step 4, check whether the setting is successful.
Inspection method 1
The easiest way to test the success of glory route 2 is to connect a computer and a mobile phone to glory route 2, and then enter any website in the browser to see if the webpage can be opened normally.
1. If both the computer and the mobile phone can open the webpage, the router is set successfully.
2. If the computer and mobile phone can't open the webpage, the router setup failed.
Inspection method 2
1. Enter:192.168.3.1in the browser to open the glory road 2 login interface-enter the previously set login password and log in to the setup interface.
2. In the setting main interface, click the Internet icon at the top of the page to open it-if the page shows: Successfully connected to the Internet, as shown in the following figure; It shows that the setting is successful and it can be used normally.
