1. Different products and standards have different requirements for the labels used by UL certification: a) Some products allow factories to mold, stamp, or screen-print the label content on the product themselves. b) Some product labels need to be purchased from UL, such as Christmas lights and power cords. 3) Some product labels can be customized from label factories with UL certification (PGDQ2, PGAA, etc.).
2. The material of the label should be selected according to the specific product, which generally includes the following aspects but is not limited to: the ambient temperature where the label is used, the material of the product surface where the label is affixed, etc. The parameters of these labels can be found on the UL yellow card of the label.
3. The content of the label should be designed according to the UL standard requirements of the corresponding product, generally including but not limited to: rating, UL mark and control number, warning, minimum font height, etc. Some product standards require that UL mark printing can only be printed by label factories with UL certification and authorization (UL's PGAA certification).
