What are the common printing papers?

Common printing papers include coated paper, offset paper, kraft paper, trademark paper, etc. The details are as follows:

1. Coated paper

Place pigments, adhesives, etc. The coating is made of a mixture and auxiliary materials, and is coated on the surface of the paperboard through special equipment. After drying and calendering, a smooth and dense coating is formed on the paper surface to obtain coated paper with good surface properties and printing performance. Mostly used in cigarette boxes, labels, cartons, etc.

2. Offset paper

It is mainly single-sided offset printing paper. The paper surface is white and smooth, but its whiteness, tightness and smoothness are lower than those of coated paper. Super calendered offset paper has better smoothness and tightness than ordinary calendered offset paper. After printing text and patterns, it can be pasted with yellow board paper to form a carton.

3. Trademark paper

Trademark paper has a white surface and good printing performance, and is used to make trademark signs.

4. Kraft paper

Including boxboard paper, cement bag paper, high-strength corrugated paper, and brown cardboard. Kraft paper is a high-strength packaging paper made from softwood sulfate natural pulp, which is tough and strong, with a yellowish-brown surface. In appearance, it can be divided into single-sided gloss, double-sided gloss, striped, and non-striped varieties. Quality requirements are slightly different.

5. Corrugated paper

Corrugated paper is pressed into a corrugated shape during the production process. After being made into corrugated cardboard, it will provide cardboard elasticity, flat compression strength, and affect vertical compression strength and other properties. . For corrugated paper, the paper surface should be flat and the thickness should be consistent. There should be no paper defects such as wrinkles, rips, and holes, otherwise it will increase the number of breakages during the production process and affect product quality.
