The statistical data in the first half of the year show three major characteristics

First, the intellectual property review capabilities continue to improve. In the first half of the year, the number of authorizations for patents, trademarks, and integrated circuit layout designs increased rapidly year-on-year. This reflects that my country's market entities are more active in innovation, creation and entrepreneurship. It is also the continuous deepening of the "delegation, regulation and service" reform in the field of intellectual property and the improvement of the quality of intellectual property review. and efficiency results. The continuous improvement of examination capabilities is also reflected in the patent and trademark examination cycle. The average review cycle for my country's invention patents has been reduced to 19.4 months, the review cycle for high-value patents has been reduced to 13.4 months, and the average review cycle for trademark registrations has stabilized at less than 4 months.

Second, the number of domestic companies with invention patents has steadily increased. Among them, there are 126,000 high-tech enterprises, with 1.077 million valid invention patents, accounting for 62.3% of the total number of valid invention patents by domestic enterprises. The technological innovation capabilities of enterprises are constantly improving.

Third, the number of intellectual property authorization registrations by foreign applicants in China continues to grow. In the first half of the year, 54,000 invention patents were authorized by foreign applicants in China, a year-on-year increase of 30.0%; the number of trademark registrations by foreign applicants in China was 90,000, a year-on-year increase of 7.5%.
